The Weight of Feeling

A world without feeling is colorless stone,
A kingdom of echoes, cold and alone.
Laughter is thunder, love is the sun,
Without them, the days blur into one.

Joy lights the morning, sorrow the night,
Both carve the soul, both give it flight.
Anger can fuel, but kindness can heal,
Every emotion shapes what is real.

Tears are not weakness, nor fury a sin,
They prove that we live, they burn from within.
Without the storm, how would we know
The warmth of the light, the hush after snow?

The tremble of longing, the ache of regret,
Remind us of things we’ll never forget.
A moment of beauty, fleeting yet bright,
Can shatter the dark with ribbons of light.

Fear keeps us cautious, but hope pulls us through,
One whispers of danger, the other of truth.
To feel is to risk, to open, to break,
Yet life without feeling is not life, but fake.

The laughter of children, the grief of goodbye,
Both are the proof we live, love, and try.
No heart left untouched, no soul left the same,
For feeling is life’s unquenchable flame.

So let yourself feel, let your heart rise,
Let love be the fire that burns in your eyes.
For life without passion, life without pain,
Is nothing but silence—empty, in vain.
